Heritage and Innovation of Indigenous Youth

Whether in the cities or back to their tribal homes, indigenous youths of a new generation are redefining their cultural heritage and crafting new value. They hope to promote Taiwanese indigenous on the world stage and connect with the world!

 

The 2018 “Breakthrough Forum” series continue to focus on the future of Taiwanese youth. This session will be moderated by Lin, Jyh-shing, deputy researcher of the National Museum of Prehistory, and feature four outstanding indigenous youths in different areas:

  • Lijuwa (Mr.djulis)
  • Tuhi Martukaw (head of LIMA Taiwanese indigenous youth league)
  • Tipus Hafay (co-manager of the Kamaro’an brand)
  • Balai (indigenous singer and songwriter)

 

In addition to sharing their inheritance and innovation, they will further discuss the educational, career, and entrepreneurial challenges faced by indigenous youths as well as ways to support their future development.
